REACH24H Korea Contributes Expertise to Korean Ministry of Environment\’s PFAS Regulatory Consensus Working Group

SEOUL, 14 JULY 2023 – REACH24H Korea is proud to announce its involvement in the international regulatory consensus working group led by the Ministry of Environment of Korea. REACH24H Korea Shares Global Regulatory Insights on Chemical Substances at 2023 MOTIE Seminar

SEOUL, 5 JULY 2023 – On June 22 at COEX, Seoul, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) held the \”2023 Global Chemical Regulatory Seminar\” to provide companies with information on the ongoing regulatory updates on chemical substances by major export markets such as the European Union (EU) and the United States. The seminar included presentations on the latest trends in EU-REACH related to the restriction of PFAS, as well as recent trends in the European Union\’s hazardous substances regulation (EU-RoHS). SEOUL, 4 JULY 2023 – On 20 June 2023, the \”2nd Gyeonggi Province Beauty Industry Promotion Committee\” held its inaugural meeting at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office. During the meeting, 12 new committee members were appointed, including Seongmin(Mike) Sohn, general manager of REACH24H Korea. The committee discussed the \”5-Year Promotion of the Beauty Industry in Gyeonggi Province\” plan for 2023 and beyond. Why Gyeonggi Province? According to a survey by the Gyeonggi Research Institute, Gyeonggi Province has the highest share of cosmetic manufacturing companies and factories in the country. The sales revenue of the Gyeonggi Province cosmetic manufacturing industry in 2020 was also the highest in the country, accounting for 35.6% of the nationwide cosmetic manufacturing industry sales revenue.
