Charge for IECSC search under China Reach renews as CRC-MEP requests

On 16^th of this November, the Chemical Registration Centre of Ministry of Environment Protection has announced a new administration fee will be charged for the IECSC search for China Reach compliance, which will begin from January 1, 2013.

– Preparing for New Chemical Notification under China REACH

[caption id="attachment_11064" align="alignleft" width=""]China REACh Workshop, Brussels 2010[/caption]This year has been a challenging one for the global chemical industry, with the revision of Chinese chemical regulatory frameworks. The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) promulgated Decree No. 7 – ‘Measures on Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances’ (also known as ‘China New Chemical Substance Notification’ – China NCN) in 2009, which revised the initial 2003 Measures. The revised Measures came into effect on 15th October 2010.
