US orders to recall a dietary supplement due to harmful API components that can cause NSAID toxicity and discontinuation of corticosteroid

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a news alert on 8 June to the public that consumers should immediately stop buying or start using Reumofan Plus, a health food marketed as “natural” dietary supplement for pain relief and other serious conditions because the product contains several active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) not listed on the label that could be harmful.
