In response to a China AQSIQ proposal pertaining to the issue of entry-exit inspection fees on toxic and dangerous goods, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Finance have lately agreed to stop from 1 August of 2012 charging double the inspection fees for imported and exported toxic and dangerous goods.

China Optimizes Re-evaluation Procedure on Pesticide Manufacturing Licensing

More discretion will be delegated to the provincial level in re-evaluating the qualification of Chinese pesticide producers

China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a notice wednesday to its provincial branches and the China Crop Protection Industry Association(CCPIA) to start its trial of new review procedure of manufacturing permit on Chinese pesticide manufacturers. The trial will be initiated in Zhejiang, Chongqing and Jiangsu from July 1^st, 2012 to June 30^th, 2013, indicating that more discretion will be delegated to the provincial level in re-evaluating the qualification of the producers and accelerations on licensing will be fulfilled for China pesticide industry.
