The 2015 GlobalChem Conference and Exhibition was held in Baltimore, Maryland, including two-day conference and one-day TSCA and International Fundamentals Workshop. It is the fourth time that REACH24H, as the sole sponsor from Asia Pacific, patronized the annual event.

Globalchem was co-organized by American Chemistry Council (ACC), Society of Chemcial Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), and is one of the industry’s leading events. This event gathered over 400 chemical industry professionals to review key developments in the global chemicals management arena while looking ahead to some of the most pressing issues in 2015, concerning on TSCA Reform Legislation, REACH Update, EPA’s 2015 Regulatory Agenda, Risk Assessment Challenges & Opportunities, Implementation of OSHA HazCom 2012 and regulatory updates in Asia Pacific Region.

As the only speaker from Chinese company, Robert Kiefer, the General Manager of REACH24H USA Inc, presented “Practical interpretation of China & Taiwan Chemical Management and GHS” at the session regarding Asia-Pacific chemical control regulation along with an international overview. Robert mainly focus on the update of China New Chemical Substance Notification (NCSN) and recent developments of chemical management under TCSCA/OSHA in Taiwan. Attendees have been provided with practically useful Asia-Pacific compliance advice (especially China and Taiwan regulations).

During the three-day conference, our exhibition area was visited by old clients, representatives from companies facing regulatory issues in Asia Pacific, and organizations seeking cooperation opportunities.
