Import License
Importers of food-related products into Thailand are required to obtain Food Import License from the ThaiFDA. Here are Documents Required for Import License Application:
a) Business Proof: Company registration certificate (must be used for importing food for sale) and a list of shareholders. Attach copies of the operator’s and authorized person’s identification cards.
b) Company Information: Company name, number set and signed by the operator or authorized director.
c) Food Storage Information: Food storage facility contract, layout plan, product arrangement diagram. Show buildings near the food storage facility, and fully display the distance of the food storage facility. Determine the characteristics of the building used as a food storage facility. The layout or storage area shows the arrangement of each type of food separately.
d) Product Details: Documents or evidence of product quality details, as well as a food manufacturing system standard certificate equivalent to or no less than GMP 386 (for certain fresh vegetables or fruits) or GMP 420 (for all food), and other relevant documents (as applicable).
