China’s NMPA Unveils 2024 Cosmetics Standards Plan: Addressing Prohibited and Restricted Ingredients, Testing Methods
On August 8, 2024, China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) released the Notice on the 2024 Cosmetics Standard Project Plan. 1 The notice announced 55 cosmetics standard formulation and revision projects proposed by NMPA’s Cosmetics Standardization Technical Committee. The notice is open for public feedback for 7 days from the date of publication.
