Background

Taiwan existing chemical standard registration has been a hot spot in recent years. According to Taiwan’s “Regulation of New and Existing Chemical Substances Registration”, the official will announce by stages the list, registration band and deadline of existing chemicals to be registered based on phase 1 registration information.

The draft of the first batch of PEC including 122 chemicals was published on Jun 9, 2017. With extensive communication among stakeholders and government bodies, the first batch of PECs draft has shrunk to 106 chemicals in March 2018.

This webinar will refer to the briefing session on supporting measures for registration of existing chemicals held by Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau (TCSB )under Taiwan EPA on Aug 22, 2018. Questions that companies pay close attention to will get addressed during the webinar, such as implementation data of existing chemical standard registration, data requirements, form of submission, joint registration, etc. This webinar will help stakeholders understand the standard registration and get well-prepared, and seize the Taiwan market one step ahead.
