Background

Since September 1st of 2013, the European Union Biocidal Products Regulation has dramatically changed the way biocidal active substances and biocidal products are regulated under European law. Nowadays a lot more attention has been paid by the global biocidal industry. Companies exporting to the EU as a component of their global business must ensure that their supply chains and product designs are compliant with the regulation.

For many biocidal products companies, if the active substances in their products are under review by ECHA, they would be very concerned about the biocidal product compliance strategy under this special transitional period to ensure their business in the EU market. While with more and more active substances getting approved by ECHA, some biocidal products companies are meeting the deadlines to apply for BPR authorizations for their biocidal products if they still want to place the products in the EU market.

In general, biocidal companies can choose different compliance strategies during the transitional period for biocidal products. In order to provide biocidal companies with the most practical regulatory compliance advice and market access strategies, REACH24H Consulting Group will hold a free webinar on May 12, 2016 to help interested companies maintain biocidal business in the EU market. Looking forward to your attendance.
