Business Manager

Mr. Hobson is a Business Manager at the United Kingdom’s National Chemical Emergency Centre. Giles is an experienced international sales professional and prior to joining the NCEC in 2012, his responsibilities included the running of the export division of a UK manufacturing company with sales in over 60 countries. Giles’ present role at the NCEC includes the management of overseas sales partners and new business development outside Western Europe with a particular focus on the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. Giles regularly travels to Asia to support the sales activities of NCEC business partners and speak at events about emergency telephone regulations and chemical emergency response best practice. Giles has previously presented at conferences and seminars in Europe, Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Turkey and the UAE.
